The European Parliament has entered into a significant five-year agreement with Qualco A.E. and Engineering International Belgium (ENG Group) to enhance the efficiency and reliability of its digital systems. This contract, valued at approximately €32.234 million, specifically focuses on providing testing and quality assurance services for the IT solutions employed by the European Parliament and several other major European Union institutions, including the European Ombudsman, the European Court of Auditors, and the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction.

The scope of the contract encompasses a comprehensive range of services designed to ensure the optimal performance of IT systems within the essential operational framework of the EU. The initiative comes under the umbrella of the Directorate-General for Innovation and Technical Support (DG ITEC) which oversees various technological advancements and innovations necessary for the functioning of the Parliament and its associated bodies.
