Marius Borg Høiby, the son of Norway's Crown Princess, was arrested shortly before his trial on charges of violation of a restraining order, assault, and making threats with a knife against one of the victims involved in the case. Following his arrest, he was detained for four weeks. The investigation into these serious allegations has now been completed, as confirmed by police attorney Andreas Kruszewski to Norwegian TV2.

During the investigation, both Høiby and the victim were questioned, along with two witnesses, one of whom was Morten Borg, Høiby's father, who has had a close involvement in the case. The police's findings have now been forwarded to the state prosecutor, who will assess whether to pursue charges. At this stage, it remains unclear if the case will progress and whether it will be integrated into the ongoing criminal proceedings against Høiby.
