A recent guided bomb strike by Russian forces on an apartment block in the Malomykhailivka hromada of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast has resulted in fears that four individuals are trapped under the debris. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, Mykola Lukashuk, reported via Telegram that part of the residential building was partially destroyed and that search and rescue operations were underway to locate the trapped individuals.

The strike occurred on the evening of February 24 and has not only raised concerns about the casualties but also highlighted ongoing security challenges in the region. In addition to the incident at the apartment block, another drone attack in the Vasylkivka hromada caused injuries and damaged properties, including a residential house and several outbuildings, emphasizing the persistent threat to civilian areas.

This latest attack is part of a broader pattern of violence from Russian military forces that continues to endanger the lives of civilians in Ukraine.
