Jitan Ram Manjhi, a leader of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in India, has voiced his opposition to the liquor ban, stating that a significant number of the cases concerning the ban are falsely levied against impoverished individuals. He highlighted that out of nearly eight lakh cases registered, more than 50 percent are directed towards the poor.
