The U.S. government has announced a new tariff regime which excludes Brazilian-manufactured aircraft from tariffs, thereby establishing a zero rate for these imports into the U.S. market. This decision is significant as Brazilian aircraft were the third-largest product Brazil exported to the U.S. in 2024 and 2025. Previously, imports faced a 10% tariff, which often hindered competitiveness.
