The traditional block 'Kambalacho do Ritmo' from the Anjo da Guarda neighborhood has been declared the champion of Group A in the Carnival of São Luís held in 2026. The announcement came after a detailed scoring process carried out at the Teatro da Cidade, where judges evaluated various performance aspects such as costumes, rhythm, and song quality. Kambalacho do Ritmo's performance was particularly notable for its theme 'O Mito Guarani – O Roubo do Fogo', celebrating the block's 40th anniversary and earning a perfect score of 150 points.
