The municipality of Uberaba announced on Tuesday that the activities of Gathi Gestão, Transportes e Serviços Ltda have been suspended by the 3rd Criminal Court of Uberaba in relation to the rural school transport contract. This action is part of Operation 'Todas por Uma', which is investigating possible fraud in the bidding process for the transportation service. The suspension of the company aims to address the alleged irregularities while ensuring that the educational services remain intact.

Despite the suspension, the Uberaba administration clarified that there will be no interruption of classes or the transportation routes for students. The company Ubervan has been designated as the temporary service provider for rural school transportation, ensuring that students continue to receive transportation to their classes without any interruption during the ongoing legal proceedings.

Additionally, the Municipal Education Secretary will continue to monitor the service being provided, formally notifying Ubervan to address any issues related to the transportation routes in rural areas. If Ubervan fails to rectify any problems immediately, there may be further steps taken to ensure compliance with service requirements, highlighting the authorities' commitment to maintaining educational services amidst legal challenges involving the previous contractor.
