A disciplinary case against two Brazilian council members involved in a physical altercation during a municipal session has been unanimously archived.
A disciplinary process against council members Denis Araújo (PP) and Maycon Moreira (PSD) was unanimously archived following their physical confrontation during a session at the Chamber of Municipalities in Sena Madureira, Acre, Brazil. The incident required intervention from security personnel and other present politicians to separate the fighting council members. The decision to archive the case was reached during a meeting of the Ethics Commission, which took place the night of March 23.
