Since the large-scale invasion began on February 24, 2022, President Zelensky has reported approximately 55,000 Ukrainian soldiers have lost their lives, although analysts suggest the actual numbers may be higher. The UN has indicated that over 15,000 civilians have died, and more than 41,000 have been injured in what has become the largest conflict in Europe since World War II, which underscores the significant human toll of this war and the continuing need for international support and attention to the situation.
