Four members of the family—identified as Aastha Patel, Dhruv Patel, Smita Patel, and Devendra Patel—are facing legal action after an FIR was lodged at the Anini police station. The family reportedly reacted aggressively when confronted about their drinking, despite being informed upon check-in that alcohol was not permitted at the resort.

The case was registered following the circulation of a viral video on social media, which showed the family insulting and threatening resort staff. The FIR includes serious allegations under Indian Penal Code provisions related to assault on women, use of criminal force, obscene acts, and criminal intimidation. Additionally, charges under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act have also been applied against them.
