It was reported on the 24th that a large-scale fraud involving human resource development grants in Japan has come to light, amounting to approximately 2 billion yen. This revelation concerned grants allocated to a total of 191 business locations across 30 labor bureaus nationwide, as shared by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare during a recent meeting. The human resource development support fund is intended to subsidize expenses incurred by companies that provide vocational training to employees, however, it was found that many recipients misappropriated these funds.
