Where the Oinorama will take place after the closure of Zappeio
The Oinorama, Greece's most important wine exhibition, will now take place at ONASSIS READY due to the unexpected closure of Zappeio for renovations.
Oinorama, the largest wine exhibition in Greece, is moving to a new venue, ONASSIS READY, set to take place from March 13 to March 16, 2026. This relocation comes in response to the sudden decision to suspend operations at Zappeio Megaron starting March 1, 2026, due to renovation plans ahead of Greece's EU Presidency in the latter half of 2027.
ONASSIS READY is a newly established, aesthetically pleasing venue owned by the Onassis Foundation, aimed at hosting significant cultural events. This exhibition, which boasts a proud 32-year history, will be the first third-party event to be hosted in this modern monument, marking a new chapter for the event and the venue itself.
The decision to move reflects the ongoing efforts to promote Greek wine on a global scale and adapt to logistical changes. With its rich tradition and growing international recognition, Oinorama is set to continue showcasing the quality and diversity of Greek wines, contributing to the country's cultural heritage and economic development.
