Latvian musician Miks Dukurs has taken to his social media platforms to express profound love and tribute for his sister Paula Dukure, who tragically passed away at a young age. In his emotional post, Miks not only shared his grief but also emphasized the importance of safeguarding loved ones, listening to each other, and showing respect. Paula Dukure, born in 1993, was reported to have left an address in Riga's Jugla district on February 12, and was found two days later without any signs of life. The State Police of Latvia has initiated a criminal investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death but currently have no evidence to suggest foul play was involved. This tragic situation has raised questions and concerns among the public about safety and the need to be vigilant for those we care about.

Paula was also known for her involvement in music, having participated in the Latvian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 alongside her father Edijs and brother Miks Dukurs. She returned to the contest in 2012 with a different song and was nominated for the Best Debut at the Latvian Music Recording Awards in 2014. Her untimely death has left a significant impact not only on her family but also within the music community, where she was recognized for her talent and contribution.
