Police in Kenya have initiated an investigation following the discovery of two bodies in Mida Forest, located adjacent to the Kilifi-Malindi Highway. The bodies were located after the Sub-Chief of Mida Sub-Location alerted authorities on Saturday morning. Officers from local police stations responded promptly to the reported scene roughly three kilometers west of Gede Police Station, where the bodies were found lying on opposite sides of the highway.

The first victim was discovered lying prone near the left side of the roadway, blindfolded with a white bandage, and showed signs of severe trauma, including multiple head injuries and blood emanating from the mouth and nose. The second victim was located nearby, supine on the right side of the highway, exhibiting similar signs of violence with blood oozing from the mouth and evidence of gunshot wounds. These distressing findings hint at a potential murder case that authorities are taking seriously, as they work to identify the victims and establish the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
