Hytalo Santos: in addition to being convicted for sexual exploitation of minors, influencer faces 14 lawsuits in the Justice of Paraíba

Influencer Hytalo Santos has been sentenced to over 11 years in prison for producing sexual content involving teenagers and faces 14 additional legal actions in Paraíba.

Hytalo Santos, an influencer, has been convicted in the first instance to more than 11 years in prison for producing sexual content involving adolescents. He is now facing 14 other lawsuits in Paraíba's judicial system, which include both criminal and labor law cases. Notably, he is accused of labor practices akin to slavery and human trafficking for sexual exploitation.

A scheduled court hearing on March 20 will address the labor lawsuits where Hytalo Santos and his husband, Israel Vicente—who has also been sentenced to eight years in prison—are being held responsible for allegedly adopting irregular practices with minors. These actions reportedly involved bringing minors into their home under exploitative conditions, where they were isolated from their families and deprived of communication with the outside world.

The Public Ministry of Labor in Paraíba (MPT-PB) has indicated that strong evidence suggests that Santos and Vicente engaged in severe abuses relating to the treatment of these minors. The continuing investigation highlights the serious implications of their actions, as they not only muddy the waters of consent in sexual exploitation but also reveal systemic issues of accountability within their local legal frameworks regarding child protection.
