In Montes Claros, Brazil, a serious accident occurred on Monday involving a truck loaded with mineral water gallons and a pickup truck, resulting in two individuals sustaining injuries. The incident took place at the intersection of Avenida Carlos Ferrante and Irmão Jaime Damião, near Hospital Aroldo Tourinho, highlighting the potential dangers of busy intersections in urban areas.

Emergency services, including the Corpo de Bombeiros, responded promptly to the scene where they found a 42-year-old woman trapped in the passenger seat of the pickup truck complaining of body pains. Although she was conscious, the extraction process required the use of specialized equipment to remove the vehicle's door due to her entrapment. Her companion, the driver, reported not suffering any injuries and declined medical assistance.

Additionally, a 25-year-old male passenger from the truck was also found on-site, sitting and expressing significant pain in his clavicle. Both he and the truck's driver chose not to receive medical treatment.
