Two men were arrested after stealing an air conditioner, gutters, and wiring from the building that previously housed the Women's Police Station in Vila Oliveira, Mogi das Cruzes. The incident occurred on Sunday, and the local government reported that the action was captured by the surveillance cameras as part of the Smart Mogi program.

The monitoring footage showed the suspects leaving the former police station carrying the stolen items. When alerted, the Integrated Operations Center (COI) contacted the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM), who quickly located and arrested the suspects in connection with the theft. This highlights the effectiveness of the local surveillance system in addressing crime in the area.

The arrested men were taken to the Central Judicial Police Station (CPJ) where the incident was officially recorded.
