Recent satellite images have shown ongoing extensive demolition and razing of Palestinian homes by the Israeli army in the Bani Suheila region, located to the east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. The Open Source Unit of Al Jazeera obtained these images, which were taken between October 8, 2025, and February 20, 2026. The comparison of these photos reveals that the destruction of residential neighborhoods, from which residents have been forcibly displaced, continues unabated. The damage is particularly noticeable around Bani Suheila Roundabout, a key location in the city, extending into residential areas east of Salah al-Din Street, which has been subject to intensive shelling.
