Exhibitions: Stone, Canvas, and Burned Earth

The Studio Rose in Schondorf presents a diverse cultural program for all ages, featuring various exhibitions and educational tours.

The Studio Rose in Schondorf is launching an extensive cultural program this year, aimed at engaging a wide range of audiences. Curator Silvia Dobler emphasizes the inclusion of various activities that cater to both the young and old, backed by a budget of 25,000 euros. The center offers limited space with an eleven square meter foyer and a main exhibition area of 56 square meters, but can expand its offering by utilizing the Atelier Rose and garden area for events and exhibitions. Currently, a striking mural called "Animarosae" by artist Martin Blumöhr adorns the facade, adding a visual appeal to the venue.

As the cultural season kicks off, the Studio Rose has already seen a surge in interest, with numerous bookings for guided tours designed with educational frameworks tailored for different age groups. Each exhibition typically lasts around three weeks, during which the studio organizes an average of 60 to 80 guided tours, encouraging engagement and dialogue between visitors and the art. Dobler notes that the tours are dynamic and vary with each group, aiming to create an interactive and enriching experience for all participants. In addition to the guided tours, the venue plans to host accompanying events that foster a deeper appreciation and understanding of the exhibitions, making art accessible to everyone.
