Educational pass 2026: requirements and registration in the province of Buenos Aires

The Buenos Aires provincial government has opened registrations for the educational pass aimed at students from various educational levels for the 2026 academic cycle.

The Government of the Province of Buenos Aires has initiated the registration process for the educational pass intended for students for the 2026 academic year. This program is designed for students at the Initial, Primary, and Secondary levels, as well as for Youth and Adult education, which includes senior learners. Notably, it extends to students in tertiary education attending state-supported public and private institutions, as well as regular and incoming students from public universities that participate in the initiative.

To qualify for this educational pass, applicants must meet specific criteria. For students in Initial, Primary, and Secondary levels, they need to be regular attendees at an educational institution and live in the province at a distance exceeding 600 meters from their school for Initial and Primary education, and over 800 meters for Secondary education. The institutions must be publicly or privately funded but still receive state contributions, and applicants cannot be benefitting from any other subsidies.

This initiative reflects the provincial government's continuous efforts to enhance educational access and support for its students. The educational pass not only aims to alleviate commuting costs for families but also encourages enrollment in various educational programs, which is crucial for fostering a more inclusive educational environment across Buenos Aires Province.
