During a planned demonstration while Prime Minister visits Pagiriai, the community intends to present her with demands for urgent governmental action. Community leader Vytautas Vyskupaitis emphasized that living in the area has become practically impossible as the factory continues to operate without adhering to proper pollution permits.

Vyskupaitis criticized the government and environmental authorities, stating that the promised stringent oversight of the factory's operations has not materialized, and residents continue to endure the consequences of neglect. He noted that the environmental protection department had previously assured the community of strict monitoring but failed to follow through on these commitments, contributing to growing distrust among the residents towards the authorities.
