Maria das Graças Cousaquiviti da Silva, a 75-year-old woman, tragically died following a motorcycle accident on the ES-483 highway in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, located in the southern part of Espírito Santo, Brazil. The incident occurred as she was riding on the back of a motorcycle driven by her 42-year-old son, who also suffered severe injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The family was returning from visiting relatives in the community of Jacu when the accident took place around noon on Sunday, October 22.
