Pune: Sharad Pawar's health is improving; he will soon be discharged from the hospital
Sharad Pawar, the senior leader of the Nationalist Congress Party, is showing continuous improvement in health after being hospitalized due to dehydration.
Sharad Pawar, the prominent leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and a Rajya Sabha MP, is recovering steadily after being admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune due to dehydration. The 85-year-old leader's condition has significantly stabilized, alleviating concerns about his health following recent hospital admission for a chest infection earlier on February 9.
Doctors at Ruby Hall Clinic reported on Monday that Pawarโs health has been consistently improving, with no cause for worry. Dr. Parvez Grant, the chief cardiologist and chairman at the facility, stated that Pawar is now 'clinically stable,' and he has started taking oral fluids and light food. His vital parameters are reported to be within normal ranges, indicating a positive trajectory toward recovery.
To ensure complete recovery and necessary rest, the medical team has decided to keep him under observation for the next two days. There have been discussions regarding his potential retirement from politics, but the party has made it clear that any decision regarding that will be solely made by Pawar himself, reflecting the leader's enduring influence in the political landscape despite his health challenges.
