Lviv terrorist attack: three in serious condition, two stable
Three people are in serious condition following a terrorist attack in Lviv, with two others in stable condition and eleven receiving treatment at home.
A terrorist attack occurred in Lviv during the night of February 21-22, resulting in serious injuries to three individuals who are currently in intensive care. According to Ihor Zinkevych, a member of the Lviv City Council, the most critically injured patients are being treated at St Panteleimon Hospital, while two others with moderate injuries are stable and receiving care at St Luke's Hospital.
The attack took place near the Magnus shopping centre on Danylyshyna Street, prompting an immediate response from police who arrived at the scene due to emergency calls prior to the explosion. Authorities have confirmed that a total of eleven people have also been treated for minor injuries and are currently recovering at home.
The incident highlights ongoing security concerns in Ukraine, particularly in urban areas, and underscores the challenges law enforcement faces in addressing terrorist threats. As the situation develops, further investigations are likely to lead to additional security measures in Lviv and surrounding regions.
