Delhi: Factory owner's murder, stabbed while returning home

A factory owner in Delhi was stabbed to death following a work-related dispute.

In a shocking incident in Delhi's Narela Industrial Area, a 28-year-old factory owner was brutally murdered by a group of attackers with knives after leaving his workplace. The attack occurred around 8:30 PM on February 20 while Ravi, co-owner of Chaudhary Enterprises, was leaving on his motorcycle. Eyewitnesses and police reports indicate that the assailants stopped Ravi and inflicted multiple stab wounds primarily to his neck, shoulder, and back, leading to critical injuries. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead by medical staff shortly after arrival.

Further investigation revealed that the murder was likely tied to a confrontation that occurred the previous day between Ravi and a worker named Raheed, over instructions related to work. It was reported that during this altercation, Ravi slapped Raheed, which resulted in the latter harboring anger towards him. Following the incident, the deceased's brother lodged a complaint leading to the registration of an FIR and deployment of a police team to apprehend the culprits.

This incident has drawn significant attention to the rising violence associated with workplace disputes in India, raising concerns about safety and security in work environments. Local authorities may need to address these issues urgently to prevent such tragedies in the future, particularly in industrial areas, where conflicts over work-related issues can escalate quickly and dangerously.
