Four players of the Lotte Giants, Na Seung-yeop, Ko Seung-min, Kim Dong-hyuk, and Kim Se-min, have been suspended for engaging in gambling activities while training in Taiwan. The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) held a disciplinary committee meeting on the 23rd of October and decided to impose a 30-game suspension on Na, Ko, and Kim Se-min, while Kim Dong-hyuk received a more severe 50-game suspension for previously visiting the site on multiple occasions. All players visited a gambling venue near their training camp in Tainan on the 12th of October, prompting the Lotte organization to report the incident to the KBO on the 14th.
