In a troubling incident in the Chakhra Gosain village of Deoria district, a local goon named Dinanath Tiwari and his family assaulted a police team led by Sub-Inspector Sunil Kumar Kushwaha. The confrontation occurred on a Monday when the police were responding to a complaint from the village head regarding unlawful sand excavation near the boundary of the Panchayat building. Tiwari not only grabbed the collar of the station officer but also physically assaulted a constable, attempting to attack other police officers with bricks. The situation escalated to the point where the police team had to retreat due to the aggressive behavior of Tiwari's family, who also attempted to stone the officers.
