Despite struggling at the box office initially, the film has managed to maintain its presence in theaters and generate impressive earnings. Even with the arrival of new films, 'O Romeo' has remained the top choice for viewers, outperforming the combined earnings of the newly released films 'Assi' and 'Do Diwane Sheher Mein' in its second weekend.

'O Romeo' exemplifies a successful collaboration between director Vishal Bhardwaj and actor Shahid Kapoor, who have previously worked together on films like 'Haider', 'Kaminey', and 'Rangoon'. Among these collaborations, 'Haider' was their most successful, grossing around 56 crore nett. However, 'O Romeo' has now surpassed this, emerging as their best collaboration at the box office with over 52 crore collected in its first week alone.

The film kicked off its second week with a collection of 3.25 crore on Friday, followed by an increase in earnings to 4.5 crore on Saturday. Although Sunday was expected to deliver even better results, it faced competition from the T20 Cricket World Cup, which likely impacted its box office performance.
