Álvaro Jacomossi Júnior, a 45-year-old former international model, was taken into custody on Saturday after 11 days on the run from the police, accused of drug trafficking in upscale parties. The Civil Police reported that Jacomossi was being monitored and was arrested in Barra da Lagoa, Florianópolis, while he was with his partner. Previously, on February 10, Jacomossi became a target during a police operation. He reportedly jumped out of the window of his own inn at Praia da Joaquina upon the arrival of police officers and concealed himself in a wooded area.
