This funding, which boosts the airline's registered capital from 680 million to 2 billion yuan, is strategic in enabling Chengdu Airlines to broaden its coverage to Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Russia, thereby positioning the C909 as a competitive alternative to established Western aircraft models.
