The Mexican consulate in Houston has announced a free vaccination campaign against influenza, aimed at the Mexican community residing in Texas. This initiative is scheduled from February 23 to 25, in order to provide essential preventive healthcare and reduce the risks associated with the flu, especially targeting complications that may lead to hospitalization.

The vaccination will take place at the consulate's office located at 3200 Rogerdale Rd, and will be available from 9 to 11 am each day. This service does not require medical insurance or prior appointments, thereby aiming to eliminate the economic and administrative barriers that often hinder access to healthcare for low-income individuals and families.

This campaign is part of broader efforts to promote public health within the community and ensure that essential vaccinations are within reach.
