From February 25 to March 1, Buenos Aires will host the second edition of the International Festival of Film on Diversities and Gender (FIDiG Cine), which has established itself as a vital part of the local cultural landscape in just two years. Amidst political tensions and changing public policies towards the audiovisual sector, the festival aims to serve as a platform for both exhibition and discussion, emphasizing cinema's role as a cultural practice with social impact rather than just an industry or form of entertainment.
