Search operations for a 74-year-old climber who has been missing since Saturday afternoon at Velouchi have ended without any success, increasing the anxiety of both rescuers and the family members of the missing man. The rescue teams, which returned shortly before sunset from the mountain peaks, attempted to examine all possible locations, moving in two directions, east and west from where the man parted from his group. One group focused on the 'Kakorema' area, investigating ravines and difficult paths, while the other headed towards 'Agia Triada' to search the broader vicinity. Despite their coordinated efforts, no trace of the missing climber was found.
