A small fire broke out at a synthetic coatings company in Cerquilho, São Paulo, on Saturday night. The fire was attributed to a mechanical failure in a heat exchanger and was swiftly extinguished by the company's fire brigade, with assistance from the local fire department.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the company, Cipatex, emphasized its safety protocols and redundant equipment which prevented the fire from spreading to other areas of the facility. The company reassured its clients that the continuity of supply would not be affected by this incident.

Operations at the facility are expected to resume fully by Tuesday, February 24. The swift response and effective safety measures have been highlighted as key factors in managing the situation effectively, ensuring that there will be minimal disruption to their business and services.
