Fashion Model Arrested After Stealing Luxury Clothing Store in New York
A young fashion model was arrested in New York City after allegedly robbing a luxury clothing store worth over one million dollars.
The New York City Police Department has arrested 21-year-old fashion model Abdullah Diaby in connection with a robbery that targeted a luxury fashion store in the Soho neighborhood of Manhattan. The incident, which occurred on December 1, 2025, involved theft estimated to be worth over a million dollars. Diaby faces charges of grand larceny, burglary, and possession of stolen property. Reports indicate that the robbery was meticulously planned and executed.
According to the criminal complaint, the robbery took place around 4 AM when a silver Ford SUV arrived at the store with three individuals dressed in black clothing and construction-like jackets. They used a ladder to access the store via scaffolding and spent approximately four and a half minutes inside. Surveillance footage captured the suspects throwing merchandise off the balcony to an accomplice waiting below, while another suspect kept watch. The police arrived less than two minutes after the suspects had left the scene.
Store owner Tommy Mackay described the robbery as reminiscent of a cinematic experience, highlighting the boldness of such an act in a busy urban area.
