On the afternoon of Saturday, a serious incident occurred at Residência Inclusiva 7 – Casa Reviver in Mimoso do Sul, Espírito Santo, where an 18-year-old resident attempted to suffocate a bedridden patient with a pillow. The local police were alerted to the situation, leading to the arrest of the suspect on the scene. A caregiver reported that the victim showed signs of violence, including bleeding from the mouth and swelling on the nose, indicating a struggle against the suffocation attempt.

The police were called following reports from a caregiver who witnessed the attack. Following the incident, the wounded patient was transported by the emergency service, SAMU, to Hospital Apóstolo Pedro for treatment.
