CM Yogi embarks on a mission to make UP a manufacturing hub, departing for Singapore and Japan tonight

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to depart for Singapore and Japan to promote Uttar Pradesh as a manufacturing hub and meet with international business leaders.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to leave Lucknow tonight for Singapore and Japan, aiming to transform Uttar Pradesh into a manufacturing hub. Accompanying him is a delegation of state ministers and senior officials. During his stay in Singapore from February 23 to 24 and in Japan from February 25 to 26, the CM will engage with representatives from approximately 25 companies, particularly at the CEO level, to discuss investment opportunities and partnerships.

In Singapore, discussions will focus on various sectors, including data center infrastructure, where CM Yogi will meet with companies like Google and STT Global, as well as in agri-business with Japfa Group and Olam International. The agenda will also include potential collaborations in clean and solar energy with DPR and assessing cooperation in the aviation sector with Singapore Airlines Engineering Company. The trade discussions aim to attract substantial investments that can further bolster the economic landscape of Uttar Pradesh.

During his visit to Japan, the CM is scheduled to meet representatives from eight companies, emphasizing Government-to-Business (G2B) meetings. The overarching objective of the trip is to engage potential investors through roundtable discussions, showcasing the stateโ€™s readiness to foster conducive environment for industrial growth and foreign direct investment. The outcomes of this mission carry significant implications for Uttar Pradesh's economic development and its positioning as a key player in the manufacturing industry.
