This unprecedented event, taking place in the Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi, Italy, coincides with the 800th anniversary of his death. Over the course of a month, it is anticipated that approximately 500,000 visitors will come to pay their respects, creating a mixture of excitement and anxiety among the local population.
