Iltalehti reports that a 32-year-old musician from Oulu has been detained by police following allegations that he threw his two-week-old baby onto a concrete floor. The suspect is the father of the child, and he has previously shared images on social media during the pregnancy and of the newborn. The situation came to light when a neighbor called emergency services early on a Friday morning, prompting police to respond to the family’s apartment. Upon arrival, officers suspected the musician had assaulted his partner and thrown the baby into the concrete hallway. Both the seriously injured infant and the mother were transported to Oulu University Hospital for treatment, while the father was arrested.
