A family in Urgnano, Bergamo, faced a harrowing ordeal when they were held hostage during a violent home invasion on Friday night. The three robbers, armed with a gun and a knife, ambushed the family's residence after dinner, startling the mother who was outside in the garden. She was forced inside and bound with zip ties, a fate that was also shared by her 15-year-old son. Meanwhile, the father was coerced into revealing the location of the family safe at gunpoint, which was subsequently opened by the criminals using a cutting tool. The robbers made off with valuables including jewelry, cash, and watches, although the total value of the stolen items has yet to be determined.
