From March 2, changes will be made to three regional bus routes in Saldus, including the cancellation of two morning trips.
Starting March 2, the regional bus routes in Saldus will undergo significant alterations as a response to changing passenger traffic patterns. The Autotransporta direkcija (ATD) has announced that the morning bus service departing from Saldus at 7:35 AM for the Saldus-Novadnieki-Saldus route will be canceled. This suspension of service is part of an analysis of passenger flows, indicating a decline in usage during this time.
In addition to the cancellation on the Saldus-Novadnieki-Saldus route, the bus route Saldus-BrocΔni will also see modifications, with the 6:55 AM trip from Saldus on weekdays during the summer months (June 1 to August 31) being discontinued. Furthermore, schedule changes for certain runs on the Ventspils-Saldus route will also occur, aiming to optimize the overall efficiency of the regional transportation network.
