Warrnambool recorded its hottest day ever according to the Bureau of Meteorology, but locals dispute the accuracy of the data due to the weather station's location.
Warrnambool, a coastal town in Australia, recently recorded its highest-ever temperature of 45 degrees Celsius, according to the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM). However, local residents are skeptical about this record, arguing that the weather station used to compile this data is situated 10 kilometers away from the town center, and therefore, does not accurately reflect the actual weather conditions closer to the coast. Many residents believe that the lack of a central weather station contributes to inconsistent and misleading weather reporting.
