In Pedrinhas Paulista, São Paulo, a 28-year-old man was arrested after attempting to impersonate a civil police officer and fleeing from authorities. The individual presented himself as a member of the São Paulo Intelligence Sector, wearing accessories to resemble an on-duty agent. His behavior raised suspicions, leading the local police to approach him near the city’s police station.

When confronted by the police, the suspect attempted to escape on foot but was apprehended following a brief chase. During his escape attempt, he discarded a bag containing a replica firearm, a fake police badge, handcuffs, and a pocket knife. The police reported that such equipment is often associated with individuals trying to deceive citizens and obstruct justice.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the suspect was a repeat offender, having previously been charged with the crime of usurpation of public office in São José do Rio Preto.
