The Virtual University of the State of São Paulo (Univesp) has opened registrations for over 6,400 vacancies distributed across ten areas of knowledge in several cities in São Paulo's interior.
The Virtual University of the State of São Paulo (Univesp), overseen by the Secretariat of Science, Technology, and Innovation (SCTI), has recently announced that it is opening registrations for over 6,400 available spots in various undergraduate programs effectively covering ten different areas of knowledge. These opportunities are aimed at candidates across 159 cities within the states' interior regions, including towns such as Presidente Prudente, São José do Rio Preto, Bauru, Itapetininga, and Sorocaba. Although the initial focus is on these regions, Univesp provides vacancies in localities throughout the entire state.
Candidates looking for higher education can select from a diverse range of courses, including Licenciatura (Education), Computer Science, and Business Production, with program durations varying from two to five years based on the chosen degree. Some of the offered courses feature prominent subjects such as Letters, Mathematics, Pedagogy, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Administration, Production Engineering, and Management Process Technology. This selection is designed to cater to the diverse educational needs and career aspirations of prospective students.
Classes are conducted through an Online Learning Environment (AVA), which is an online platform where students engage in academic activities such as watching video lectures and completing assignments. This virtual approach reflects modern educational trends, allowing increased accessibility for students who may not have been able to attend traditional brick-and-mortar institutions. The significant number of available positions also underscores Univesp's commitment to expanding educational opportunities to a broader demographic, particularly in underrepresented regions across the state.
