Czech biathlete Tereza Voborníková celebrates her career's greatest success as an Olympic bronze medalist after rising through the ranks from cross-country skiing.

Tereza Voborníková, born on May 31, 2000, in Vrchlabí, has recently achieved significant recognition in biathlon, celebrating her greatest success as an Olympic bronze medalist. Initially starting her sports career as a cross-country skier, she transitioned to biathlon at the age of fourteen, quickly earning the reputation of a significant talent in the sport. Voborníková's breakthrough came during the 2022 Junior World Championships held in Soldier Hollow, where she won two world champion titles and one bronze medal, highlighting her potential in the sport.

After making her World Cup debut in January 2020, Voborníková faced several challenges in making her mark on the podium. However, this season, she finally saw success, securing a bronze medal with her team in Östersund and another bronze with the mixed relay team in Nové Město na Moravě. Her first major medal in the senior category came in February of last year when she won silver at the World Championships in the mixed relay alongside teammate Jessica Jislová, confirming her capabilities in the more competitive arena.
