In a recent humanitarian gesture, Paris City Hall has dispatched eight generators to Kyiv as part of its ongoing support since the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion. Each generator has a capacity of 112 kW, crucial for addressing the energy challenges that Kyiv faces during the current crisis. This delivery was confirmed by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko following a meeting with Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, who leads a delegation visiting the Ukrainian capital.

Mayor Klitschko emphasized the importance of this assistance, noting that the generators are a vital necessity for Kyiv at this time. This shipment is part of a larger pattern of support that Paris has provided, which includes various humanitarian aids such as equipment essential for energy sustainability. Klitschko highlighted that four of the generators have already arrived, with expectations set for another four shortly, bringing the total to eight units.

The backdrop of this support is significant, as Ukraine has been grappling with an energy crisis exacerbated by ongoing conflict. From January 26 to February 10, Ukraine received over 560 pieces of energy-related equipment, showcasing international solidarity in facing the multifaceted challenges brought by war.
