Hundreds of customers are waiting for products ordered from a clothing company – This is how the CEO responds
Last Butterfly, a youth-favored clothing company, has left hundreds of customers waiting for their orders, which the CEO claims are currently stuck in UK customs.
Last Butterfly, a clothing company popular among young people in Finland, is currently facing significant backlash as around 500 of its customers report that they have not received their paid orders. CEO Juho Juuti, aged 22, confirmed to Iltalehti that many customers have been inquiring about their orders in the comments section of the company’s social media posts. Some reported waiting for months, with certain customers allegedly waiting up to eight months or longer for their items to arrive.
Juuti acknowledged the situation and stated that he is fully aware of the delays, emphasizing that he has done everything possible to address the issue. According to his remarks, the items are currently held up in customs in the United Kingdom, which has contributed to the prolonged waiting times for his customers. He mentioned that the next batch of goods, which was expected to arrive by the end of January in Helsinki, is now uncertain. If there are no solutions forthcoming, he hinted at potentially taking more drastic steps to resolve the situation.
This delay not only affects customer satisfaction but also poses risks to the company’s reputation, particularly in the competitive youth fashion market. The situation calls into question the logistical and management processes of Last Butterfly, and it illustrates the broader implications for Finnish retailers who rely on international shipping. As customers grow increasingly frustrated, the company’s ability to rectify this situation swiftly will be crucial for their future operations and consumer trust.
