A tragic accident occurred on Friday night on BR-262 in Nova Serrana, where a motorcyclist fatally collided with the rear of a parked truck. According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the incident took place around 8 PM, near kilometer 438 of the highway, where the truck was stationary in a line of vehicles. The motorcycle, traveling in the same direction, struck the truck's rear, resulting in a fatal impact that claimed the motorcyclist’s life at the scene.

Authorities are still in the process of identifying the victim, whose identity had not been disclosed by the time of the report's last update. The driver of the truck was reportedly unharmed in the crash. Following the incident, the Civil Police conducted an investigation to determine the specific circumstances that led to the collision. The deceased motorcyclist's body was taken to the Medical Legal Institute (IML) for further examination.
