'Is Someone Trying to Save VSR Company...': Rohit Pawar Calls for Resignation of Aviation Minister Over Ajit Pawar Plane Crash
Rohit Pawar of the NCP has demanded the resignation of the Union Aviation Minister in connection with the Ajit Pawar plane crash, alleging serious flaws in the investigation and stating that the VSR Ventures company has political protection.
During a press conference on Saturday, Rohit Pawar from the NCP (Samajwadi Party) raised serious questions regarding the plane crash involving Ajit Pawar. He specifically called for the resignation of Ram Mohan Naidu, the Union Minister of Civil Aviation, claiming that his independent investigations have uncovered numerous serious shortcomings related to the crash. Pawar's allegations pointed towards VSR Ventures Private Limited, the company that owned the crash aircraft, suggesting that it has influential backers that shield it from scrutiny.
Pawar detailed that many individuals connected with VSR Ventures are part of the power structure, with some of them ostensibly supporting the ruling party both at the state and central levels. He further accused certain officials from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of attempting to protect the company amid this scandal. This assertion underscores a significant concern regarding the relationship between politics, corporate governance, and regulatory oversight in aviation.
Pawar explicitly stated that if justice is to be sought for Ajit Pawar, it rests in the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, urging them to pay serious attention to the matter. His appeal highlights the urgency of accountability within the realms of political and aviation safety, especially considering the implications of vested interests in protecting particular companies. This situation not only raises questions about air travel safety but also the integrity of political and regulatory institutions in India.
