Ravinder was demanded crores, notice issued against member of Bishnoi gang

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is facing a security threat as a member of the Bishnoi gang reportedly demanded a ransom of 10 crores from him.

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, currently enjoying the success of his film 'Dhurandhar', is embroiled in a troubling situation concerning threats to his personal life. He received threatening messages from Hari Boxer, an associate of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who demanded a ransom of 10 crores. The seriousness of the threats prompted action from the Mumbai Crime Branch, indicating the potential risks faced by high-profile individuals in the Indian entertainment industry.

In response to the threats, a Look Out Circular (LOC) has been issued against Hari Chandra, alias Hari Boxer. The Mumbai police's actions stem from verification efforts involving the threatening voice note sent to Ranveer's manager, which was claimed to be from Hari Boxer. Once confirmed by the Punjab and Haryana Police that the voice was indeed that of Hari Boxer, a formal First Information Report (FIR) was lodged, highlighting the collaboration needed among different police jurisdictions to address such malign incidents effectively.

The Mumbai Cyber Police, acting on Vijay Subramanian's complaint, have initiated an investigation into the matter. This incident sheds light on the broader issue of celebrity safety in India, particularly in the context of gang-related threats, emphasizing the need for heightened security for public figures as they navigate their personal and professional lives against the backdrop of potential criminal activities.
